About Sue
Sue Benes is the Library Media Specialist at D.C. Everest School District for Rothschild and Hatley Elementary. I collaborate with teachers in grades K-5 in both buildings. As a Technology Mentor for the District, I lead workshops, trainings, and presentations. My first presentation session at WEMTA was in 2012 and again in 2013. In addition, I am an adjunct professor at Northcentral Technical College in Wausau on iPad and Google training. Prior to being a Librarian, I taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade over the course of 8 years.
When I'm not a "librarian", I enjoy my husband and two children along with our big gardens, apple orchards, beehives, and chickens. As a family, we enjoy canoeing and spending time together.
In my "quiet" time, I enjoy taking walks, reading books on my Kindle, playing the many apps available on my iPad, walking through stores, and listening to music.

Karrie Blake is a fourth grade classroom teacher in the D.C. Everest School District at Rothschild Elementary. This year, she became an iPad trainer for her school district, and has enjoyed helping her colleagues become more comfortable with Apple basics. She has also helped present other professional development opportunities for her school district.
In life outside of teaching, Karrie loves spending time with her husband and three kids. She also looks forward to taking the dog on his walks each day, running and trying to keep up on her reading interests.
